Speechless. That’s pretty much the only way you should feel after watching the trailer for CockyBoys‘ upcoming drama-filled feature, Project GogoBoy, which blurs the lines between the hottest porn you’ve ever seen and your guiltiest-of-pleasure reality shows. The series, which has been in production for months, will finally be launching with the first of its five installments on July 2 and will feature CockyBoys Exclusives Max Ryder, Jake Bass, Pierre Fitch, Gabriel Clark, Tommy Defendi and Tony Capucci, as well as newcomers Ben Rose and Seth Knight. The series will ultimately wrap up in the fall with a not-to-be-missed reunion special hosted by famed NYC drag legend Headda Lettuce.
Project GogoBoy paints a raw and untamed picture of the darker, sexier sides of both the NYC and Montreal nightlife scenes where gogo boys, dancers, strippers, DJs, and club owners all strive to be on top (well… some of them anyway). The series specifically follows Jake Bass as he struggles to hold on to his position on the top box and his status as one of the hottest gogo boys on the scene. His competition? The up-and-coming Max Ryder, who will do just about anything to get the best sets and music. The plot thickens as resident club DJ Pierre Fitch flexes his muscle as a key deciding factor in the gogo boy fame food chain. As if things couldn’t get more intense, Gabriel Clark, Sebastian Young and Tommy Defendi star as rival club owners with their own (ulterior?) motives. Project GogoBoy will also feature Seth Knight as an entrepreneurial young dancer and Stephen Forest as a naïve newcomer who can’t even imagine half of the drama he’s quickly cozying up to.
The over the top series is the brainchild of CockyBoys director Jake Jaxson, who wanted to create something that drew from his first-hand account of the gogo boy scene when he was growing up in New Orleans.
“This film will be a TOTAL immersion into the life of the gogo boy, bringing the viewer a detailed account of what’s happening on stage and off,” Jaxson said. ” I can promise that this won’t be just another porn movie.”
Furthering the series’ authentic feel is the fact that most scenes were filmed on location in popular NYC clubs like XL and Eastern Bloc as well as Montreal’s famed Stock Bar.
